Education changed my life. It allowed me to have choices, unlike many in my family.

I grew up in a world where there were a lot of moving parts. The majority of people around me had limits due to environmental circumstances. However, my parents were big cheerleaders for education even when they didn't always know how it would work. They were sure it would provide more options. Due to some of the hardships we had, I've gone to four elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools. I'm grateful for all my teachers; however, some exposed me to the impact of education. I desire to expose my students to a world outside of their chaos. Education changed my life.
