Children have always been my passion. I have now taught elementary school for almost 30 years...all at the same school. I love implementing new projects and ideas every year. Book Character Day, State Research in a Bag, and Literacy Day are a few new activities that have been accomplished in the last year.
My school is a small rural school in a well maintained PK-12 building. I love the ability to have access to many grade levels for partnering of activities.
My goal in raising money is to use it for flexible seating. Currently, I have mismatched desks, tables, and chairs. I have made some stools and have covered pillows, but I would love to invest in some wobble stools for my second grade students. Children have always been my passion.
