I am a kindergarten teacher in Brentwood, NY. I teach in a title one school where 95 % of my students receive free or reduced lunch . Many come from very poverty stricken homes . These children are amazing though . Many families even with limited means truly value education and want their children to work hard and do well in school . In this day in education you are given very little supplies to work with and often have to spend a lot of your own money to try and make things fun for your students .
