Amanda Woollacott

I started my teaching career as a first grade teacher in Lake Station, Indiana. I worked there for two years before moving back to my hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. I was a reading interventionist for 4 years, a building coach for 2 years, and I taught 3rd Grade for 7 years. In 2017 I decided it was time for a change, so I left Fort Wayne and started my current teaching position as the Title 1 Reading Specialist for Churubusco Elementary School. I work with struggling readers in grades 1st through 5th. I also use a lot of technology with my students including Epic, Read Theory, Lalilo, Read180, and SRI.
