I will never forget how i came to be a teacher. I was a little girl going through a very tough time and my first grade teacher (Mrs. Litton) did every thing she could to keep me above water. I wanted to be just like her when i grew up. I was born to a 16 year old mother and i am a first generation college student. I worked hard, put myself through college, and have been making Mrs. Litton proud ever since. The growth i see in not only my kids, but in myself every year is incredible and makes it all worth it.
