Amanda Chew

I have always had a passion for teaching. I can remember my parents getting old school desks and I would set them up and make my brother and sister go to school. My passion for children and teaching stayed with me always but because of my school loans and the pay of teachers, I went into another field.
Somehow I found my way right into teaching after I got my bachelors in Psychology? The pay for teachers has not increased but my determination to make a difference and use my talent has. I could not see myself doing anything other than working with amazing children everyday.
I hope to eventually make my way into the public school system and hopefully help schools in proverty stricken areas. I want to be able to give any child, good quality education regardless of where they live. I have always had a passion for teaching.
