I'm a recovering attorney that found her way into public education. After four years practicing law actively, I found myself unfulfilled. After I began testing the waters by substitute teaching, I found a place that I knew would be home. The school I work at is a special place. Clay High School is a loving place filled with tradition and the greatest group of people you'll ever meet. Many of my students come from low income, rural homes. Some of my students have no home at all. More than half of our population is on free or reduced lunch. This doesn't stop our kids from being successful though!
