I am a Catholic school teacher who is very passionate of the learning that takes place in the classroom. We like to do STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with recycled products from home. The one major drawback of this is the cost of the materials needed. In the past, we have used products such as brand new pencils, plastic folders, apples, popsicle sticks, and a few other items to name a few, that do not fall under the category of 'teacher supply I have traditionally purchased these on my own, but it is very expensive. I try to find less expensive ideas to create the same fun experiences, but it is best to use materials that vary. Unfortunately, cost has been a factor in performing these educational tasks. Please help with the cost of the supplies needed for a true STEM classroom. Thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate anything?
