Students this year
Hello! My name is Alison Litz. I graduated from the University of Akron in May of 2019. I am a licensed teacher in the areas of: elementary general education preschool through third grade, as well as special education for mild to moderate and moderate to severe students with disabilities, grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. I am very excited to be starting my teaching career fall 2019. I look forward to empowering all students who enter my classroom, by teaching them to: be advocates for themselves and others, to always be kind, and to instill in them the desire to be life long learners!
How will funding help my students?
This fall I will be starting my teaching career as an elementary intervention specialist at Sandusky City Schools. As a first year teacher, there are a number of materials and resources I would like to purchase for my classroom, in order to meet the needs of all students. With the help of your support, I will purchase flexible seating for my students, in the form of: inflated wobble cushions, an exercise ball, fidget chair bands, and a wobble chair. Your support will also benefit my students in the form of noise cancelling headphones, hand held fidgets as well as other manipulatives to better assist student learning.
Number of students who will be impacted: 18
