I have been in the educational field for 13 years now. Serving as an Teacher Assistant, Specials Teacher and classroom Teacher. In all the experiences I have gain overall in the education pathways I have gone thru I have learned that having love for learning is something we can surely transmit as an educator to our students. So by being a long life learner I teach that the more we learn, the more there is to discover and achieve. There is no limits to our goals. Believing in ourselves is the key to overcoming. I love teaching because I love my students and impacting their lives so greatly our bonds have no end but being a part of each other has mark a difference in their lives as well as mine.

What will the funds be used for

I am asking for a donation to attend an Early Childhood Stem Conference in 2020. With the knowledge I will acquire in the event I will be able to implement fresh ideas in my classroom by teaching with strategy. I will learn by research to enhance and expand my professional growth, meet with likeminded people and industry peers. By all means I will share it as well grade level in my school. Overall, reaching 220 students economically disadvantage in the community I serve as a teacher. I believe excellent education is the one that reaches within and beyond. Is about modeling, inspiring and transmitting passion to learn in magical, meaningful and unforgettable ways. The STEM subjects offer many opportunities for children to use their minds and hands to play, explore, and learn. Research shows that giving children exposure to quality, hands-on STEM learning opportunities is so important and familiarity with STEM concepts early on is a key predictor of children's school success.
