Alicia Rosenbloom

For nine years, I was fortunate to work at the elementary level. During this time, I worked with inner city fifth grade students, special education students and eventually took on an instructional coach. role. This helped me to learn how to support students and staff in a meaningful way! Currently, I am the reading specialist at an inner city High School. I enjoy working with the students. I especially like to help them realize that is never too late to learn strategies and skills that they will need during their lifetime. In addition, I have fun colloborating with my staff members and being part of a school family! Teaching students that they can set a goal and achieve it (at any age!) is rewarding. I simply can not imagine doing anything that is more powerful, life changing and meaningful. I absolutely LOVE teaching, learning, and of course reading!
