Alicia Garcia

My name is Alicia Garcia and I have had the distinct pleasure of serving the El Paso community for 24 years. I have a masters degree in Bilingual Education/ Instructional Specialist and hold various certifications to include interdisciplinary studies, bilingual education, ESL, and school counseling. My experience includes teaching kindergarten , 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th grade. I LOVE MY JOB!
Currently, I am a 6th grade ESL & Pre-AP ELA educator at Puentes Middle School. My extra duties include being ELA Department Chair, LPAC committee member, PLC Lead, PLC Campus Guiding Coalition member, UIL Coordinator, UIL Spelling Coach, and Teacher Mentor.
