I am going into my 3rd year teaching at a continuation school for credit recovery and am proud to see these students grow and thrive. Often times, if not most times, the students who come to my high school already have a negative mindset and "understand" they are already judged, but are never looked at as just average kids who deserve a second chance. My colleagues and I try to give just that. A second chance, and push all judgment to the side.
