Please donate to support a student poetry reading that will bring together students and faculty from the Chicanx Studies and English departments from 3 different colleges in San Diego, CA, and community that will take place in the Spring semester of 2019.

* A little bit about me*
Alejandra Sanchez is a writer and educator working with the intention of global and personal healing, the rights of Mother Earth, indigenous lifeways, and Mother Water. Her work has been featured in the independent film, I Stare At You and Dream, KPFK's Pacifica Radio, Radio Sombra's Red Feminist Radio, Mujeres De Maiz, La Bloga, UCLA Young Writers Anthology, Hinchas de Poesia, Duende Literary Journal, Latino/a Rising: An Anthology of Speculative Fiction, Coiled Serpent: Poets Arising from the Cultural Quakes & Shifts of Los Angeles, Anomaly Journal's Indigenous Futurisms and Imagining the Decolonal, and PBS Newshour's Where Poetry Lives. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing at Antioch University, Los Angeles and is an Adjunct Professor of English and Chicanx Studies at 3 colleges in San Diego, California.
