Hello donors,

My name is Mr. Alberto Espinoza and I'll be teaching a Bilingual Kindergarten class at H.I. Holland Elementary School in Dallas, Texas. Our school serves low income students that are in need our basic school supplies but does not stop our students in achieving district expectations. My student's love in learning has inspired me to provide them with supplies but I can do so much; therefore, I'm asking for assistance in purchasing paper, pencils, glue sticks, crayons, and markers.

I thank you in advance for your generous help.

What will the funds be used for

My students are seeking donations to obtain critical thinking activities that will enhanced their thinking skills needed to tackle their End of Year test. The upcoming Kinder students have worked hard throughout their previous year and will continue to work diligently to accomplish the district's goals as well as school goals.

I have a group of students who truly enjoy learning.

Their passion in learning have led my female students to go beyond their comfort level and begin to think critically their assignments. As far as my male students, they are having a difficult time catching up to their female counterparts.

The students will use district's reading and math applications to enhance their comprehension, fluency, and math skills.

As a teacher, I think critical thinking use by my students will prepare them for future endeavors.

My students can gain numerous benefits from mastering critical thinking skills, such as better control of their own learning and empathy for other points of view. I believe it is important to teach children critical thinking skills. We use critical thinking skills every day. They help us to make good decisions, understand the consequences of our actions and solve problems.
