Aubrey Gomes

I teach in a very diverse district. I coordinate and teach our gifted and talented program. I have done so for over 13 years. On average, I service approximately 100 students each year spanning across 8 elementary school buildings in our city. We focus on a variety of topics in history, science, and ELA throughout the year and we really strive to enhance our problem solving and critical thinking skills. We often work in small teams and are building our skills in technology as we work through much of our research and our topics. Currently, our technology and supplies are very limited for this program since we are often sharing supplies between the 8 buildings but we are working to build up our supplies in each building so every school has their own set of technology and other supplies to work efficiently in this program.
