I currently teach at an inner city urban school in Milwaukee. We are a small private school surviving on a shoe-string budget. The hands-on and developmentally appropriate learning materials we use, I purchase myself. I would love to be able to incorporate more STEM and technology into my classroom, but I cannot fund that myself. Outside gifts would be a blessing to my students and myself.
