I graduated from Nicholls State University in December of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, grades four through eight, and again in May of 2017 with an Associate of Science in Child Development with a concentration in Preschool Management. In May of 2016, I received my certification in Mild/Moderate disabilities (Special Education). For my first few years, I taught sixth and seventh grade Special Education at a local school in Thibodaux. This past school year, I taught fifth grade ELA at an elementary school in Thibodaux. My heart is with Special Education am definitely in the middle school setting. I've always had a soft spot for children, especially children who come from challenging backgrounds, which the school I work in is highly filled with. I absolutely adore my kids and want what is best for them, but that comes at a price that is not always easy to pay, especially with many mouths to feed at home. I'm hoping that with the money earned, I can get my students exactly what they need to be successful throughout the school year.
