1. You get to know your students very well
You will get to know your students well whether you teach half- or full-day kindergarten. You may also interact more with their parents than is typical at other grade levels.
At this young age, parents will usually drop off their children at the classroom, and you will be able to visit with them for a few minutes as their child gets settled. This interaction can provide valuable insight into the child’s home life and overall relationship with their parent.
